About this Mailing List
This mailing list is supposed to be used for collecting, translation and coordination of articles for the "NukeNews" newsletters.
People from different countries can send their information to a central NukeNews e-mail account ("news AT NukeNews.nuclear-heritage.net"[1]), which will then be forwarded to this listserve. Messages for the NukeNews have to be in English, so our interpretors have a chance to understand them (English is our working language). In this mailing list people who organizing the NukeNews language versions (currently: English, Finnish, French, German, Russian). These interpretors translate the messages to be published with the newsletter into their languages.

Translation of text

Compiling the NukeNews editions in the specific languages
For each language version there has to be one responsible person who will put the pieces of translated articles together to form the newsletter edition in the specific language. Then this will be sent by e-mail to the specific newsletter listserve. Currently one coordinator has to do that, because we don't have enough people helping with the NukeNews yet. Ideally there should be additional people to share these tasks. Then all these contributions should be really small tasks and not too much for busy activists to be done once every three months.
