Walkatjurra Walkabout

Well here we go!!! Don't be afraid of the fancy email, just trying to consolidate a lot of lists and contacts in to one easy place!!!!

There is a lot going on this year and everyone is invited to take part in many of the exciting events that we have coming up this year.

The Walkatjurra Walkabout is set for the 4th-28th of May, 2013 and it looks like being even bigger than last years walk.

The walk will continue to be a celebration of Wangkatja country, a testament to the strength of the community who have fought to stop uranium mining at Yeelirrie for over forty years, and a chance to come together and continue to share our commitment to a sustainable future without nuclear. It is a chance to reconnect with the land, and to revive the tradition of walking for country.

Register here to be a part of the walk:

Can you take a minute to help spread the word: Go to http://www.walkingforcountry.com and share with your friends via facebook or whatever social networking you are in to ;-)

You can also print of an A4 flyer and stick it up in your local café or places you just hang out!! DOWNLOAD AND PRINT FLYER:

We do have a bit of a wish list: so if you want to take a quick look and see if there is anything you could help out with then it would be great to hear back from you!

You can also make a tax deductible donation to the walk through Everyday Hero, or you can also deposit straight in to our bank account at:

Sorry for all the links, but it’s better than a 5 page email !!! ;-)

Hope that you can be a part of this amazing journey whether that is walking, helping out or spreading the word ;-)

Look forward to hearing from you all.
