120,000 protested in Berlin
  • In reaction to the atomic desaster at the Japanese Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) Fukushima four mass demonstrations for globally shutting-down all NPPs have been announced in Germany.
  • The mass demonstrations will take place on 'March 26, 2011 - one months before the 25th anniversary of the atomic desaster in Chernobyl (Ukraine/Soviet Union) 1986 - in Hamburg, Berlin, Cologne and Munich.
  • All together some 250,000 people protested against nuclear power in the four cities - 120,000 in Berlin, 50,000 in Hamburg, 40,000 in Munich and 40,000 in Cologne
